These straps were originally made in 1965 and in 16mm and 18mm variants were used on all of the watches issued at that time such as Benrus, Westclox, Hamilton, Bulova etc. These straps are still based on the U.S US military watch strap specification covered by, MIL-S-46383A1 WRIST: INSTRUMENT June 1965.
